Supporting the future of Indigenous students
Increasing Indigenous engagement and participation is a priority, underpinning our commitment towards corporate social responsibility.
Wesfarmers first developed a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) in 2009. Since then, it continued setting out what Wesfarmers, and in turn Bullivants, intends to do to drive towards our goal of a welcoming and inclusive workplace which reflects the diverse communities in which we operate.
We are committed and focus on making a positive impact and contribution to increase opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and the broader communities. Our engagement includes the Bullivants Scholarship Program, a school-based traineeship with the Clontarf Foundation and Cultural Awareness Training for our team.
All contributions go towards the results of the Wesfarmers Reconciliation Action Plan
which is at the highest level ELEVATE.
Bullivants is committed to encouraging and supporting Indigenous tertiary students who have a passion for engineering by providing them with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Bullivants business.
This program grants two university students a one year, $10,000 scholarship each, including financial support, and other resources to enable them to achieve their career aspirations in engineering or a related field.
Sales of the Bullivants Alloy Chain Slings directly contribute towards the scholarship program. We are very grateful and thank all our customers for purchasing not only quality lifting equipment, but also supporting the Bullivants Indigenous Scholarship Program.

The Clontarf Foundation supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young men by improving their opportunities for education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem, and job prospects. For over 20 years, this not-for-profit foundation has successfully kept young men engaged in school while promoting healthier and more purposeful lifestyles.
Bullivants launched a school-based traineeship in 2021, teaching warehouse operations and workplace safety. Graduates receive employment support with our Specialist Employment Officers assisting in their transition to their new job and surroundings. Additionally, Bullivants hosts Indigenous High School students on facility tours to prepare them for future employment.
Committed to the program's success, Bullivants will continue to expand traineeships nationally in partnership with The Clontarf Foundation.
