The AirShackle™ is a hybrid shackle that pairs a high‑strength UHMWPE bow with a tempered, high‑tensile steel pin, plus 7075‑T6 aluminium spools and nuts (on most models). It combines steel where it counts with UHMWPE where is helps for efficient towing and recovery connections delivering a balance of strength and ergonomics.

This hybrid construction reduces weight, improves handling, and maintains reliable load‑bearing performance at the pin - offering a smarter alternative for non‑lifting applications.

Safety‑Critical Usage Principles

The AirShackle™ is used for towing and pulling applications only and is not validated for overhead lifting. Correct pin engagement is critical to performance and a minimum of 60% connection width required (80% ideal) for effective load distribution.

All units are proof‑loaded to 40% of Minimum Break Strength, with users responsible for setting an appropriate working load limit based on site conditions, temperature limits, inspection requirements, and correct use.
